The track, characterized by its blend of broken English and Italian lyrics, humorously portrays Italian stereotypes, referencing coffee culture and the mafia. This portrayal has sparked controversy in Italy, with consumer association Codacons appealing to the European Broadcasting Union to disqualify the song, citing offensive content. Despite the backlash, many Italians have expressed mixed reactions online, ranging from amusement to offense. Tommy Cash is set to perform at the Eurovision Song Contest in Basel, Switzerland, in May 2025.
