Scheduled for July 31 to August 2, 2026, at Unibet Arena Kvartal, the festival is shaping up to be a defining event for Tallinn concerts and a major highlight within Estonian cultural events, drawing rock fans from across the region for three days of volume, history, and collective energy.
The Artists Behind the Tallinn Rock Festival 2026
Few rock bands have shaped global popular culture as profoundly as Scorpions. Formed in Hanover in 1965, the German rock legends have sold well over 100 million albums worldwide and remain one of the most enduring live acts in rock history. Songs such as Wind of Change, Rock You Like a Hurricane, and Still Loving You have transcended generations, while countless awards from publications like Classic Rock and Metal Hammer have cemented their iconic status on the world’s biggest stages.
American heavyweights Godsmack, founded in Boston in 1995, bring their unmistakable blend of hard rock and alternative metal to Tallinn. Fronted by Sully Erna, the band has sold more than 20 million albums and built a reputation for explosive, emotionally charged live performances. Tracks such as I Stand Alone, Voodoo, Awake, and Under Your Scars have dominated charts, soundtracks, and arenas alike.
Hardcore and metalcore powerhouses Hatebreed have been a defining force in extreme music since their formation in 1994. Led by vocalist Jamey Jasta, the band’s uncompromising sound and relentless touring alongside acts like Slayer, Slipknot, and Lamb of God have made them genre pillars. Songs such as I Will Be Heard, Live for This, and Destroy Everything have become rallying cries within the global metal community.
Among the most anticipated performances is that of Sepultura, the legendary Brazilian act founded in 1984. With landmark albums including Arise, Chaos A.D., and Roots, Sepultura reshaped the language of metal and influenced generations of artists across continents. As the band prepares to conclude its career by the end of 2026, their Tallinn appearance will mark their final performance in the Baltic region.
Nu-metal pioneers P.O.D. add another defining chapter to the lineup. Formed in San Diego in 1992, the band rose to global prominence with the multi-million-selling album Satellite. Hits such as Alive, Youth of the Nation, and Boom helped define an era, while their energetic live shows continue to resonate with both rock and metal audiences worldwide.
Expanding the festival’s sonic palette, British trio White Lies bring their dark, cinematic post-punk sound to Tallinn. Since forming in London in 2007, the band has become a staple of the European alternative scene. Their debut album To Lose My Life… entered the UK Albums Chart at No. 1, while songs like Death, Bigger Than Us, and Farewell to the Fairground have achieved modern classic status.
In addition to the international lineup, Tallinn Rock Festival will also spotlight Estonia’s own rock and metal scene, with performances by Herald, Goresoerd, Pedigree, Kannabinõid, and Nevesis, reinforcing the festival’s role as a meeting point between global legends and local powerhouses.
