El Poder de la Infancia

From Humble Beginnings to an Artistic Force

El Poder de la Infancia's origins trace back to film school, where the group’s six core members—Adriel Radovitzky, Facundo Altamirano Kuttel, Federico Grassi, Guido Marengo, Ignacio Bogado, and Sebastián Matías Britos—discovered a shared passion for merging music and visual art. What began as experiments in local venues evolved into a full-fledged artistic project celebrated for its genre-defying sound.

Their early live recordings, including the 2019 release El Poder de la Infancia - Live Session, introduced listeners to their dynamic blend of post-rock atmospheres, jazz improvisation, and Argentine musical traditions. This debut showcased the collective’s ability to weave complex ideas into emotionally resonant compositions, setting the stage for their evolution.

Campamento: A New Milestone

In 2025, El Poder de la Infancia released Campamento, a two-track EP that exemplifies their genre-blending mastery. The project consists of Ascensor and Purificación, two intricately linked compositions that take listeners on an emotional and sonic journey.

  • Ascensor: This track begins with a gradual build, driven by a powerful bassline and intricate percussion. Electric guitars and synth textures rise alongside the rhythm, creating an expansive soundscape that reflects the track’s name, which translates to “Elevator.”

  • Purificación: Seamlessly connected to Ascensor through an electronic bridge, Purificación shifts into an energetic pulse, showcasing vibrant percussion and bold, improvisational melodies. Its upbeat rhythms evoke a sense of renewal, capturing the essence of its title, “Purification.”

The seamless transition between the tracks, along with recurring themes and motifs, creates a cohesive listening experience. This deliberate interplay reflects the band’s attention to detail and commitment to crafting a unified narrative.

Adding to the EP’s artistic depth, the band created a full-length video for Campamento, combining the band member's talent in video production and music together.

The video is available on Tunitemusic’s official YouTube channel as well as the band’s channel, offering fans a multi-sensory experience that exemplifies their audiovisual ethos.

The release of Campamento also marked a significant step in the band’s journey: their signing with Tunitemusic, a label from Estonia, known for championing innovative and boundary-pushing artists.

Blending Music and Visual Storytelling

One of the defining features of El Poder de la Infancia is their integration of video art with live music. Their performances are more than concerts—they are immersive experiences that explore themes of nostalgia, wonder, and emotional discovery. The visual elements often serve as an extension of the music, adding layers of meaning and engaging the audience on multiple levels.

This interdisciplinary approach stems from the group’s background in film and their desire to create art that resonates both visually and sonically. By bridging these two worlds, they have carved out a distinctive niche that sets them apart from traditional bands and ensembles.

A Rich Tapestry of Influences

At the heart of El Poder de la Infancia’s sound is a deep respect for musical diversity. The group draws from an eclectic mix of influences, including:

  • The atmospheric and emotive qualities of post-rock.

  • The improvisational spirit and complexity of jazz.

  • The rhythmic richness of Latin American traditions like chacarera, cumbia, and tango.

  • The modern textures and energy of electronic music.

This fusion results in compositions that feel both innovative and grounded, reflecting the band’s ability to honor their roots while exploring new creative territories.

Looking Ahead

El Poder de la Infancia shows no signs of slowing down. With their unique blend of genres and interdisciplinary artistry, they remain committed to pushing the limits of what music and visual art can achieve together. The group’s journey is one of constant evolution, fueled by curiosity and a desire to connect with audiences on a deeper level.

Whether through new recordings, live performances, or collaborative projects, the ensemble continues to challenge conventions and inspire listeners. Their work stands as a testament to the power of creativity and the boundless possibilities that arise when music and visual art converge.

For those looking to experience El Poder de la Infancia’s artistry firsthand, Campamento offers a perfect introduction. The EP’s intricate compositions and accompanying video provide a glimpse into the collective’s ability to create immersive, transformative art.
